It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific regulating college, and province’s legislation.  We recommend you get consent from your clients to store their health information and records digitally off-site at a data storage facility.

This material includes, but is not limited to : all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively, "Content"), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression of such Content. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

In order to protect the operation of our Website, we reserve to ourselves the right to suspend or cancel any user account whenever we see fit and for an undefined period of time.

Digital RMT hereby grants to members of this website a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the services on the website as set forth in this Agreement. The member shall not use the contents of this website for any purpose prohibited by law.

Ownership:

The contents of this website is intellectual property of Digital RMT. This Agreement does not give members any intellectual property rights to any content on this website. The member shall not modify, copy, duplicate, reproduce or make any attempt to discover or obtain the source code for this website.

Warranty of Functionality:

Digital RMT warrants that this website shall perform in all material respects according to the Digital RMT specifications concerning this website when used with the appropriate computer equipment. In the event of any breach or alleged breach of this warranty, the member shall promptly notify Digital RMT. The member’s sole remedy shall be that Digital RMT shall correct the problem, within a reasonable time, so that it operates according to the specification.  Use of the Service requires compatible devices, Internet access, and certain software (fees may apply); may require periodic updates; and may be affected by the performance of these factors. High-speed Internet access is strongly recommended for regular use. You agree that these requirements, which may change from time to time, are your responsibility.

Membership:

As a registered user of the Service, you may establish an account ("Account"), and be referred to as a “member”. Do not reveal your Account information to anyone else. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account and for all activities that occur on or through your Account, and you agree to immediately notify Digital RMT of any security breach of your Account. Digital RMT shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of your Account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you register with the member service ("Registration Data"), and you agree to update your Registration Data to keep it accurate and complete. You agree that Digital RMT may store and use the Registration Data you provide for use in maintaining and billing fees to your Account.

Upon termination or cancellation of this Agreement for any reason with Digital RMT, it is the member’s responsibility to back up all of the contents of their account in the file format used by the website, before their account has expired or been suspended.

A member’s license will be terminated if the member violates this Agreement. the member wishes to activate their account in the future, a new payment will be required.

Payment:

You agree that you will pay for all products you purchase through the Service. You are responsible for the timely payment of all fees and for providing Digital RMT with a valid credit card for payment of all fees. All fees will be billed to the credit card you designate during the payment process. Digital RMT reserves the right to suspend your membership account until prompt payment is made, upon which Digital RMT will reactivate your membership account in the state it was before suspension. Account Suspension means that you will not be able to login in or get access to the contents of your account.

Your total price will include the price of the service (monthly or annually) plus any applicable sales tax

Your credit card will be billed either monthly or annually, depending on which membership you purchase. By completing the payment form and providing your credit card information and selecting a term of monthly or annually, you agree you are purchasing the service for the full term selected. All sales are final and no refunds will be provided even if you as the member chooses to close the account with Digital RMT before the term selected expires.

At this moment, payments are only accepted through PayPal. PayPal is the official PAYMENT PROCESSOR of this Website.

Prices for products offered via the website service may change at any time, and the Digital RMT does provide price protection for the service plan purchased.

This privacy policy sets out how Digital RMT uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

Digital RMT is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our privacy statement.

Any involvement of any law enforcement agency, Internet Provider, or other person or entity providing Digital RMT with notice that a member of this service may have engaged in transmission of unsolicited emails or may have engaged in otherwise unlawful conduct or conduct in violation of an Internet Service Provider's terms of service or any such policies or regulations, Digital RMT reserves the right to cooperate in any investigation relating to your activities including disclosure of the member’s account information.

This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Canada.

Our Privacy Policy

The appropriate collection, use and disclosure of client’s personal health information are at the core of your business. Digital RMT operates to protect the utmost in privacy and confidentiality of your and your client’s personal information.

What is Considered Personal Health Information?

As defined in Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA), “personal health information is any identifying information about an individual (oral or recorded), including information re an individual’s health or health care history (i.e. physical, mental condition, family medical history, provision of health care, long‐term health care services, health card number, blood or body‐part donations, payment of health care, identity of a health care provider or a substitute decision maker)”

Our Privacy Policy reflects commitment to help your compliance with applicable laws and standards of practice in all provinces of Canada.

Accountability - We take our commitment to securing your client’s privacy very seriously. Each therapist is responsible for the personal information under his/her control.

Limiting Collection - We collect information by fair and lawful means and collect only that information, which may be necessary for purposes, related to the provision of your member account.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention - The information we request from you is used for the purposes of providing member service to Registered Massage Therapists. We understand the importance of privacy and confidentially as stated in PHIPA and PIPEDA . We will seek your express consent before using the information for purposes beyond the scope of the posted Privacy Statement. We DO NOT sell patient lists or other personal information to third parties.We will retain the contents of your member account only for the time it is required and once your personal information is no longer required, it will be destroyed.  

Safeguards: Protecting Your Information - We protect your client’s information with appropriate safeguards and security measures. Access to each member’s personal information will be authorized only by the therapist that have permission by their membership on the Digital RMT website. From time to time work on the website will happen, in that case organizations and agents must agree to abide by our Privacy Policy and may be asked to sign contracts to that effect. We will give them only the information necessary to perform the services for which they are engaged, and will require that they not store, use or disclose the information for purposes other than to carry out those services.

Email Address and Contact Information

When you send us e-mail or when you ask us to respond to you by email, we acquire your email address. We use your email address to acknowledge your comments and/or reply to your questions, and we may store your communication and our reply in order to provide you with customer support.

Access to Credit Card Information

Digital RMT does not store your credit card information. Credit card information, including your name and address, is passed directly to our approved credit card processing partners through secure and encrypted connections. If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us.
